Chris Gillum is the founder of Gillum + Partners. Chris started his career in 1984 at King and Co (now JLL) in London & specialised in industrial and warehouses agency. In 1986 Chris then moved with JLL to Hong Kong and remained until 1991 again specialising in industrial and warehouse agency. He then moved with JLL to Berlin, just after German reunification, where he remained until 1997 having left JLL in 1993 and joined Weatherall Green & Smith ( today Savills). Expertise in Berlin was very varied including land sales, marketing Business Parks and central Berlin office assets.

Chris returned to London in 1997 and headed up central London investment at GVA Grimley (today Avison Young). In 2004 he joined Savills where he remained for 19.5 years until December 2023. Chris initially was co head of West End Investment and in 2016 he moved to be Head of Offices in the European Capital Markets team. He specialised in Germany and Central & Eastern Europe.

Chris is a fluent German speaker.

Chris lives in Twickenham, South West London with his wife, 3 grown up children and a beloved dog! He is an avid fan of many sports being a season ticket holder at both Tottenham Hotspur & Harlequins. Chris is a keen cyclist, generally keeping fit and travelling.
